PDX are very proud to have been honoured with Platinum pallet network service status once again in 2018. We have a one-of-a-kind trophy to prove it.
PDX is a shareholder member of Pallet-Track, the premier pallet delivery network in the UK. With over 83 members nationwide supporting the network and over 22,000 pallets handled every night from their state-of-the-art centralised hub, our customers can expect unrivalled IT systems and service levels.
Pallet-Track expects the highest standards from all its shareholding depots. To monitor this, all depots are subject to key performance indicators. It’s not just about delivering the consignments on the right day and at the right time, it covers the whole operation.
The performance tables are broken down into Platinum, Gold, Silver and Bronze. To achieve the platinum status you need to hit a performance level of 99%+ across the board. Here at PDX we hit this level in September 2017 and have only fallen into Gold (98%) once since then and this was only down to a late delivery due to the heavy snow!
More importantly for our customers, 75 of the 90 depots that make up Pallet-Track are hitting service levels of over 95%. Not too shabby when you are moving over 22,000 pallets a night. Despite the network growing rapidly (they were awarded Sunday Times’ 100 fastest growing companies in the UK in 2018), Pallet-Track are still the only pallet network out there that can boast never losing a pallet.
